Frustration, although quite painful at times, is a very positive and essential part of success.
If you are feeling frustrated that your goals are not being reached at the pace you expected, first of all it can be this ‘expectation’ that is causing this unnecessary frustration in the first place.
Start by asking yourself if your goals are realistic and achievable, setting your SMART goals will help to answer these important questions. If they are not realistic and achievable then you are simply putting unnecessary pressure on yourself.
Focusing on feeling frustrated is a drain on your energy, this energy can be better used by getting into action. Remember thoughts take more time and space in our lives than actions.
You also need to reflect on the things that need to be done to achieve your goal, you can do this by listing your required actions and then most importantly check in with yourself whether you have in fact been doing what needs to be done.
If you are not doing the necessary, then how can you expect to you reach your goals?
