Partner personal training is for you if…

You want the accountability of training with someone you trust, but you don’t want to walk into a busy commercial gym. You and a friend have been saying you’ll do something about your fitness — and you’re finally ready to actually do it. Or you simply know that having company makes you far more likely to show up and stay consistent.

Sharon’s partner sessions are women-only and completely private. You each get your own personalised programme, your own coaching app, and a coach whose full attention is on both of you throughout every session.

Two programmes, one session

You and your partner are assessed individually. Your programmes are built around each of your goals, fitness levels, and starting points — so you’re both getting exactly what you need, even in the same room.

It’s much harder to cancel when someone else has shown up for you. Training with a partner creates a layer of commitment that goes beyond willpower — and makes the sessions something you genuinely look forward to.

More affordable than 1-2-1

With our partner sessions you get the same private studio, the same personalised programme, and the same mindset-led coaching as a 1-2-1 session, split between two people.

A private, women-only space

Sessions take place in Sharon’s home studio on Ripple Road — quiet, comfortable, and nothing like a commercial gym. No strangers, no mixed environment, no pressure to keep up with anyone outside the room.

What a partner personal training session looks like…

Check in

Sharon checks in with both of you at the start — energy levels, how the week has been, anything to work around. It keeps the coaching personal even with two people in the room.

Warm up

Mobility and activation work specific to each of your bodies and the session ahead. Not a generic warm-up — purposeful preparation for what’s coming.

Main training block

Both of you work through your individual programmes simultaneously, with Sharon coaching you both throughout. She’s watching form, managing load, and adjusting in real time — nobody is left to figure it out alone.

Cool-down and next steps

Recovery work to close the session, followed by individual pointers for each of you to focus on before next time — whether that’s movement, habits, nutrition, or mindset.

Duration:

Sessions are 60 minutes. Sharon will recommend a starting frequency during your free consultation based on your shared goals and individual schedules.

Do we need to be the same fitness level?

Not at all. Sharon assesses you both individually and builds separate programmes that suit each of your starting points. You train together in the same session, but at your own pace and level.

Can we bring a different partner each time?

The programme is built around consistent partners, as Sharon tracks each person’s individual progress over time. If your regular partner can’t make it, get in touch and Sharon will advise the best approach.

What if one of us has an injury or health condition?

Sharon has over 20 years of experience adapting programmes for women managing injuries and health conditions. Your programme will be modified so you can train safely and confidently from day one.

Do we both need to book a consultation?

Yes — Sharon will consult with both of you individually before the programme begins, to make sure your programmes are built around each of your goals and needs.

Where is the studio?

Sharon’s private home studio is at 475 Ripple Road, Barking, IG11 9QZ. Easily accessible from Upney Underground Station, East Ham, Ilford, and Dagenham.
